New riding helmet collection for children and teenagers

Safety first! Children and teenagers should be wearing helmets for horse riding as a matter of course. The head of a child or young adult is more fragile, and softer, than that of an adult. Without head protection, even a seemingly harmless fall can have dramatic consequences. However, the idea of protection alone is seldom enough to convince our kids to wear a helmet. All this is contained in a stylish, mat lacquer look, which should satisfy, and even win over, the most ardent non-helmet wearer.

Once again the uvex leitmotif, “protecting people” has been brought to focus, in this important area.

The supersonic helmet’s ultra light weight has been achieved by using our in-mould construction. An extremely strong, practically unbreakable high-tech plastic outer shell is firmly bonded to a dome-shaped inner shell. The EPS inner shell material is designed to absorb the impact energy of any crash or collision, and provide optimal protection to the head.

Inside, the helmet features ultra-comfortable padding. The helmet is also equipped with uvex’s proprietary air channelling system. Combined with the breathable, wicking, washable lining, this guarantees the best possible head microclimate, even during periods of high physical exertion.

The highlight of the supersonic is the ability to fit virtually any head shape with easy fine tuning, thanks to the uvex IAS 3D fit system. This offers remarkable three dimensional adjustability, which can be adjusted with millimetric precision. The chin strap has a monomatic buckle, uvex’s practical, one-handed closure system, and also a twin-material shield, with a soft front edge.
