The outer shell for this exceptionally lightweight inmould construction is an extremely strong, and practically unbreakable, high-tech plastic. This is bonded to the dome-shaped inner shell. For optimal protection, this inner shell material absorbs the energy of an impact or fall.

To maintain a cool head, even when you’re working hard, the interior of the supersonic features ultra-comfortable padding, an air-channelling ventilation system and a breathable, wicking and washable lining. supersonic helmets fit every head, thanks to the uvex IAS-3D fit system. Stepless, three-dimensional adjustment enables you to fine-tune the perfect fit to any head shape.

The uvex supersonic range:

With over 14 different colourways and styles, the supersonic range sets new standards for this age group in terms of safety, featherlight weight, perfect comfort, optimal ventilation and striking good looks. For extra safety, LED lights can be attached to the sides or back of the helmet to help the young rider remain visible in dull or dark conditions. The lights can be set to stay on or to flash.

New for 2011-2012: The supersonic range gets two high performance helmet liners. The lightweight, sweat-absorbing and sweat-transporting summer liner can be easily, and quickly, swapped out for the cooler months with the winter liner. The winter liner is warm yet compact and comes with ear covers.

supersonic ranch is an innovative and eye catching new helmet design. Using the latest technology, uvex can now print photographic images straight onto the helmet shell. ranch is the first uvex helmet to feature an original photographic image - of a horse ranch. Available in two base colours, khaki or dark silver.

For girls and boys who prefer classic design:
Timeless style, which looks smart and will co-ordinate with any outfit. The original supersonic helmet design is available in a single colour finish - matt black, or three different degradé finishes - silver degradé, titanium degradé or black degradé.
