Recall uvex ski helmet funride
Dear uvex customers,
due to a routine internal quality control we have become aware that some “funride” ski helmets might have a manufacturing defect.
This defect may lead to an insufficient shock absorption and resistance to penetration in areas of the helmet which are construction-conditioned critical (ventilation openings, rivets, synthetic applications) and cause serious injuries when falling.

Your ski helmet is identified as a “funride” helmet if it bears this label. It is sewn in the helmet inner lining near the left ear.
Moreover, the „funride“ helmet has a central venting slider with two directional arrows.

We take our claim „Protecting People“ seriously. In case you own a uvex ski helmet “funride” please stop using it immediately. Please return it to the retailer it was purchased from for full refund of the purchase price.
