Adjusting your helmet for optimum fit and protection!

1. Set the uvex IAS size adjustment system to the circumference of your child’s head. The helmet should fit snugly around the head without allowing any movement.

2. Position the right-hand strapadjuster centrally below the ear, ensuring that both straps feeding down from the helmet to the left and right of the ear are taut.

3. Position the left-handstrap adjuster centrally below the ear, ensuring that both straps feeding down from the helmet to the left and right of the ear are taut.

4. Now set the chin strap to the right length. It should be possible to fit the width of one finger between the strap and the adjuster.

5. If the ends of the chin strap are longer than 6 cm after adjusting, we recommend cutting off any surplus length. To prevent fraying, fuse the cut edge with a lighter.

6. Fix the ends of the strap with the comfort pad.

7. Snap in the uvex Monomatic buckle – the helmet should now fit safely and comfortably!
